The treatment takes 30-45 minutes. A topical numbing cream is applied first, and most fillers contain a local anaesthetic. I inject the filler using a fine needle or cannula, carefully placing product to enhance your natural lip shape. You'll see results immediately.
Mild swelling and bruising is normal for 1-3 days. Avoid strenuous exercise, hot drinks, and touching your lips for 24 hours. Full results are visible once swelling subsides, typically within 1 week.
The most common fear I hear is "I don't want duck lips." Good — neither do I. My approach to lip fillers is conservative and natural. The goal is to enhance what you already have, not to create something that isn't there. I often recommend starting with less product — you can always add more at a follow-up. It's much harder to remove overdone lips (though HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed).
