As we age, the face undergoes various changes, often resulting in two predominant ageing profiles: “sinkers” and “saggers.”

Sinkers: Individuals with a “sinker” profile typically exhibit a hollow or sunken appearance due to the depletion of adipose tissue in areas like the cheeks. This loss of volume can create pronounced facial hollows, making the face appear gaunt and aged.

Saggers: Those with a “sagger” profile often experience tissue droop and fat bulges. The tissues appear to slide away from the underlying bone structure, leading to increased laxity and sagging skin. This can result in a heavier, more aged look, especially in the lower face.

Profhilo® Structura addresses both of these ageing profiles by either replenishing lost volume in “sinkers” or lifting and tightening sagging tissues in “saggers,” providing a balanced, youthful appearance. Your ageing profile will  be assessed at your initial consultation.

What to expect during the treatment? 
A typical Profhilo® Structura treatment consists of two sessions spaced one month apart. The injections are administered  along the cheek bone  and/or in the preauricular area using a specific protocol that evaluates facial structure, including midface projection, hollows, laxity, and skin density. The procedure is minimally invasive with little to no downtime, allowing you  to resume their daily activities immediately after the appointment.

How do Profhilo and Profhilo Structra differ?
Profhilo® and Profhilo® Structura have different rheological properties and benefits. Profhilo® is injected into the dermis where it is clinically proven to provide tissue restoration without volumisation. It does this by waking up dormant fibroblast tissue to regenerate collagen and elastin, visibly improving the skin’s firmness, texture, and hydration. Profhilo® Structura, on the other hand, is designed for deeper structural remodeling and is injected into the subcutaneous layers. It is clinically proven to reposition and regenerate the dynamic superficial fat pads located beneath the skin and connective tissue, and above the muscle and deep fat layers. Its advanced compatibility with fat cells helps counteract the flattening of facial angles and tissue descent that naturally occurs over time, resulting in a more lifted, contoured, and rejuvenated facial profile. Both treatments offer unique benefits tailored to different skin concerns and treatment areas, ensuring a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation and age management.

How many treatments will I need, and what will it cost? 
Profhilo® Structura involves 2 treatments  4+ weeks apart.  Maintenance treatments are recommended  4-6 monthly.

The cost per treatment is $850 per treatment or if purchased as a package of two $1600. Maintenance treatments  are $800 per treatment.
