WHAT IS PRP?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient’s own platelets to accelerate healing and stimulate reparative cell production.

PRP injections are prepared by drawing a tubes of blood and running it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets.

These activated platelets are then injected directly into the body tissue to stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells your body produces.

Since the injections are created from your own blood, your body will not reject or react negatively to them.

What is PRP? 
Plasma is a component found in your blood that contains proteins, that support cell growth. The PRP facial is a treatment that isolates the plasma from the blood and then concentrates it. Our doctors extract a small amount of blood which is then placed into our centrifuge which separates the PRP from the blood. 

Injecting the PRP into the tissues of the skin, triggers your body to produce new, healthy cells and promotes healing. As the tissue growth factors are concentrated in the PRP injections, it stimulates our body’s tissues to heal faster.
